Gary Fickes has been serving the citizens of NETC for over 30 years. He has dedicated most of his adult life to giving back to the community where he lives and works. He has served as your County Commissioner since January 2007. He has also served as a Mayor, Planning and Zoning Chairman, member of local, state and national transportation organizations, hospital boards and bank boards. In addition to roles as a public servant, he has also been actively involved in Service Organizations including Rotary International (Paul Harris Fellow), Lions Club, Chambers of Commerce, Boy Scouts of America and Northeast Leadership Forum. Gary currently serves on the Governor’s Economic Development Stakeholder’s Committee, the Bobby Bragan Foundation and Harris Methodist Health Foundation. This fall Gary is participating in the Leadership Fort Worth program.

Employment

Tarrant County Commissioner, Precinct 3.
Oversee County operations in Precinct 3, NETC which encompasses 18 cities and the unincorporated areas of the Precinct. Maintain a full service Maintenance facility with a staff of 35 employees, manage our office staff which includes four employees at two offices (Hurst, Southlake).

An integrated Real Estate Development firm providing design, construction, leasing, and management for office/flex/showroom type buildings in the Northeast Tarrant County area.
